“Apple Music senior director Ian Rogers — ex Beats Music CEO — has announced on Twitter that integration with Sonos for Apple Music is coming as soon as possible,” Benjamin Mayo reports for 9to5Mac.
“For the time being, Apple Music users will have to use a workaround involving a connected Apple TV or Airport Express to get the audio streaming off their Mac, iPhone or iPad and into the Sonos experience,” Mayo reports.
Mayo reports, “Apple has confirmed in a statement to Buzzfeed that Apple is working with Sonos to get Apple Music available on the connected speaker system by the end of the year.”

The title should read… Sonos to support Apple Music. Not the other way around. Otherwise the article does not make sense.
You will still be stuck using Apple TV or an Airport Express to a connect until Sonos adds Apple Music to their app. Guaranteed once they do, it will be crippled, just like the Spotify app.
You mean the Airport Express last updated in 2012? The one stuck on 802.11n? The one with no support to plug in an external network drive? The one that stupidly uses the same port for both digital (Toslink) and analog (minijack) audio output? The one that costs $30 more than an AppleTV?
Yeah, this is one more embarrassingly stale product that Apple needs to update pronto. It’s still useful but Apple isn’t doing anything to keep it viable in the market. WTF, Apple !??!?!?!?!
I L-O-V-E my SONOS system. I have the Playbar, 1xPlay 5 and 3x Play 1s and the Sub. The only weak spot for SONOS is the App in its integration with streaming services. I am THRILLED to hear Music will be supported on Sonos and just guaranteed that I will be subscribing at launch! I’m a Beats subscriber but was VERY worried that Music wouldn’t be supported.
