The Inquirer reviews Apple Watch: ‘Undoubtedly the best smartwatch’

“The Apple Watch is the company’s first delve into the wearables space and has already become the most talked-about smartwatch yet, despite previous efforts from the likes of Motorola, Pebble and Samsung,” Carly Page writes for The Inquirer.

“The Apple Watch, though not without its flaws, is undoubtedly the best smartwatch we’ve tested to date,” Page writes. “Apple’s approach for the device to be be as much about fashion as functionality pays off.”

Page writes, “However, while it trumps its Android Wear rivals, we’re still not convinced it’s worth the hefty price tag, and we’d definitely consider the device a luxury rather than a must-have gadget – especially given the Apple Watch’s current lack of support for native third-party apps.”

    1. People truly want it to be great (and it is) to justify the expense, especially on Version 1 of a new device. But as impressive as sales figures are now I predict the sales numbers will really fly through the roof on the next iteration in 2016.

    2. People are asking me about my Apple Watch (they keep calling it an iWatch) and want to know what it does for me. At first, I tried to explain what it does and I get the usual rebuttal that their phone does all that. I have grown tired of having to justify my purchase and I know that they would like to try the watch but are afraid of spending money. I now just say that I really like the watch and find it very useful and leave it at that.

  1. Apple watch i think is reasonsbly priced compare the range to say Tissot – Gucci watches which actually just tell the time!!! And build wise i would say the Apple watch exceeds these
