“Sources in China now say that TPK will be responsible for manufacturing the Force Touch sensors for both the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, despite the idea that only the larger model was originally designed to support it,” Mihai Matei reports for G for Games.
“Today, a fresh report from Taiwan (citing Apple’s supply chain sources) “confirmed” that Force Touch was indeed planned as an exclusive iPhone 6s Plus feature, but for whatever reason that’s no longer the case,” Matei reports. “Instead Apple will make Force Touch available on both 6s models and TPK will be the one to supply the company with all the needed modules.”

When Force Touch arrives on iPhone, we doubt it will be reserved for the “Plus” models. Force Touch is too big of a UI addition and offers too much potential to limit it to certain devices. Apple will more likely seek to continue the spread of Force Touch to all Apple input devices ASAP. – MacDailyNews Take, April 2, 2015

I think Force Touch (FT) is kind of a gotta have it yesterday type new feature that is gonna drive more 6S and 6S Plus upgrade sales than would have otherwise been the case. I was planning on skipping a generation this year ’til I’ve experienced FT on my WATCH SPORT. Now I gotta have it on both my iPhone and my iPads ASAP.😱💥😖🎉😂😜👀⌚️
