Apple Watch Bands could arrive in limited quantities in Apple Retail Stores later this week

“Apple Stores will begin stocking Apple Watch bands later this week in ‘limited”’ quantities, according to a message sent to retail stores, with the majority of bands being the fluoroelastomer Sport Bands,” Mark Gurman reports for 9to5Mac.

MacDailyNews Take: Happily our Black Sport Bands arrived for our Silver Apple Watch Sport units nearly two weeks ago. The White Sport Bands went into the drawer of relics immediately, never to return.

  1. I received my black stainless steel today, it’s a awesome device. I’m still playing with it of course. The link band is gorgeous and so simple to resize; hats off to the Apple team that invented this. One question though, how hard do you have to push the buttons to take the band off. I have a additional sports band and wanted to change. After I pushed in the button I was able to slide over the band, but it moved with a lot of resistance so I slid it back. Now my wife wants one. Apple, the Apple Watch is stunning innovation!

    1. The stainless bracelets must be removed, slid out, from both sides of the watch concurrently. Slide a bit on one side, then the other. The other bands come in two pieces, so you can unlatch them and remove one side at a time, much more easily.

  2. Really, in the stores and mine is still slated to arrive sometime after May 29th?

I remember canceling on online order for an iPhone 6 Plus when I could just march into a local store and buy one before the online one had shipped, by quite a margin of time. Doesn’t seem fair somehow.
