Apple Watch OS update

      1. What mike241243 said. I can also see people walking away from the phone right in the middle of the update process… Which might result in a bricked watch. (I’m not gonna try that.)

  1. Seems like non-native apps are more responsive. Wunderground weather loads much quicker. Tried several others and looks as though I may actually use a few I earlier found far too slow to trump pulling out the phone. A few more hours of play to be definitive.

  2. My new Watch just “froze” up. The screen wouldn’t come up all the way and it was a blurred ghostly white.

I tried pressing things to get it to respond.

I was googling how to force reboot and it reboot on it’s own.

No biggie, Ver 1, OS 1.01.

    1. FYI

“If you can’t turn off Apple Watch or if the problem continues, you may need to force Apple Watch to restart. Do this only if you’re unable to restart your Apple Watch.

Force Apple Watch to restart. Hold down the side button and the Digital Crown at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.”

      You’re welcome.

      1. But be careful about doing this, especially when updating the Watch OS as the process goes through several steps and takes awhile. Give it time to download, transfer, install, and reboot on its own.
