“If you’ve been waiting impatiently for your Apple Watch to arrive, there may be some good news today,” Ben Lovejoy reports for 9to5Mac. “Quanta vice chairman CC Leung reportedly said that while the company had struggled to meet orders to date, the company’s capacity problems have been solved and production is now fully up to speed.”

MacDailyNews Take: Hopefully this means Apple will be fulfilling orders and Apple Retail Stores will have Apple Watches in stock for sale onsite sooner than expected.
[Thanks to MacDailyNews Reader “Bill” for the heads up.]
Quanta must be the one filling the black stainless steel version that I’m impatiently waiting for.
There is hope for you!! I mentioned earlier that mine had been shipped from China but it turned out to be a bridesmaid dress that my wife had ordered, unbeknownst to me. 😠.
The good news is that mine is now on my wrist. Received yesterday by UPS, shipped from Pennsylvania. Black stainless steel, black stainless link band. WooHoo!
Ordered 20 seconds after the app went live, Apple email acknowledgment post 2 minutes after 11 pm Alaska time. Good Luck!!
You are one lucky guy, getting both a black stainless steel Apple Watch and a bridesmaid dress at nearly the same time. 😉
Beats venture, homekit and the New Apple Tv all come alive this summer. BOOM!
my watch is “out for delivery” today! 🙂
I ordered it Sunday evening after the Friday when preorders first became available after trying one on in the local Apple store that Sunday morning. Previously, Apple had indicated delivery from May 21st to June 5th.
Mine is also being delivered today. I ordered last Monday and was told to expect it Jun 4 – Jun 11.
Mine was showing June, today it updated to show last week in May.
I’d heard some analysts saying there isn’t much demand for AppleWatch, so there would be little need to speed up production based on those analyst’s claims.
Sure, the analysts on the Bizarro World.
They better hurry up. I almost bought a Swiss Army watch yesterday.
It’s a Swiss watch or Swiss Army knife I believe.
Apparently not
