“American Airlines isn’t the only big U.S. airline creating an Apple Watch app; Delta Airlines and United Airlines are building their own,” Mark Sullivan reports for VentureBeat.
“American — an Apple partner at the Watch’s launch — has so far gotten most of the attention for building a Watch app that’ll help you at the airport,” Sullivan reports. “But we’re likely to see Watch apps from other airlines too, eventually. A check with a couple of other tech-friendly airlines — Southwest and Virgin America — found no Watch app development activity going on at present — at least not that the companies are willing to talk about.”
Sullivan reports, “The United and Delta Watch apps do roughly the same things that the American app does, with a few new wrinkles here and there.”

MacDailyNews Take: The more, the merrier. Sooner or later, they’ll all have Apple Watch apps. Airlines around the world should be jumping on anything that can facilitate and expedite boarding. Of course, they’ll probably figure out a way to charge extra for it eventually.

I’m pretty sure your post was in fun, but, in seriousness, my guess is that putting your phone into airplane mode will take care of the watch as well – for RF emissions.
If not, Apple’s gonna have to bolt an on-off switch onto the watch 😉
