Founded in 1987, Student Monitor provides syndicated and custom market research services focused exclusively on the college student market.
Student Monitor researchers “asked 1,200 U.S. undergraduates last fall to choose ‘what’s in on campus’ from a list of 77 options,” Philip Elmer-DeWitt reports for Fortune.
“Among the top 15, the iPhone was first,” P.E.D. reports.
And Apple’s iPad was 5th, ahead of both “drinking beer” and “hooking up.”
