My wife complained about getting hand-me-down tech from me using an old iPad 1 (while I still use a 3). But this time for Christmas 2014 I gave her an iPad Air 2 and she loves it. It is pretty great. Now I’M the jealous one… 🙁

Give kids, grandkids, nieces, & nephews the hand-me-downs. If you only buy one of every iteration, ALWAYS give the wife the new tech. The effect is like buying her roses every day.
I’m always somewhat surprised on here to read how wives and loved ones just get tech as dictated by their partners. Aren’t there any wives who can decide what and when THEY buy tech even if they take advice from others? Are ther really still many who seem to have no access to their own finances to do so? Sounds like we are back in the 60s here.
