Know Your Mobile reviews Apple’s iPad Air 2: ‘The absolute best tablet money can buy’

“The iPad Air 2 really is a very impressive piece of kit that brings together everything that made the iPad Air great and adds in a raft of refinements designed to further improve the general user experience,” Richard Goodwin writes for Know Your Mobile. “The end result of all this is a fantastic tablet that is arguably the best money can currently buy.”

“If you’re an iPad Air user already, you might want to hold on to your still excellent device for another year before upgrading,” Goodwin writes. “There are a lot of updates inside the iPad Air 2, just not enough to justify ditching your year-old iPad Air.”

Goodwin writes, “The iPad Air 2 is designed, I think, with two people in mind: those with old iPads and those that don’t yet have iPads. And for this demographic it is perfect, offering up excellent design, insane processing power and one of the best tablet ecosystems around.”

  1. My wife complained about getting hand-me-down tech from me using an old iPad 1 (while I still use a 3). But this time for Christmas 2014 I gave her an iPad Air 2 and she loves it. It is pretty great. Now I’M the jealous one… 🙁

    1. Give kids, grandkids, nieces, & nephews the hand-me-downs. If you only buy one of every iteration, ALWAYS give the wife the new tech. The effect is like buying her roses every day.

    2. I’m always somewhat surprised on here to read how wives and loved ones just get tech as dictated by their partners. Aren’t there any wives who can decide what and when THEY buy tech even if they take advice from others? Are ther really still many who seem to have no access to their own finances to do so? Sounds like we are back in the 60s here.
