“The people at the beautiful Woods Hole Inn have snapped these photos of Steve Jobs’ yacht in the wild,” Jesus Diaz reports for Gizmodo.
“It’s the first time we have seen Venus open like this,” Diaz reports, “offering a peek at its interior design.”
“It looks like a summer home from this angle,” Diaz reports. “The top still looks like a floating Apple Store, though. Ugh.”

At first I thought it was really ugly. Now I see the beauty in the iPad roofs from the right angle!
you were right the first time, amigo
of course… maybe steve had it built as a gift, to give to bill gates to remind him of his utter lack of taste
In a world of cookie cutter mega-yachts this one is amazing. New, distinctive, you can’t help but look at it. I like it. Also the straight bow and bottom out stern increase the water-line and thus speed. I bet it is the fastest in it’s class.
Some people think it’s ugly. Well, ain’t that to bad. It was his money and was his design. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it.
It looks designed for deep sea sailing – something most gin palaces can’t do.
Since it appears to be in use, who exactly is using it?

It appears Laurene Powell Jobs doesn’t own it anymore and it’s on charter. Apparently Jobs had an idea to sail round the world when he retired and it’s already done three Transatlantic trips so yes…it’s built for ocean sailing.
Didn’t see the bridge but I have to assume it is steered with a click wheel.
Nope, a series of iMacs.
Nope, a series of iMacs + iPads.
Even after his passing, Jesus Diaz manages to keep making a living off of Steve Jobs.
Whats an “off of”?
The photo looks Photoshopped.
