The answer is statistically around 0.001% – that’s if you have good memory!” Eric Steiner reports for Venture Capital News. “This is about to be changed by a start-up company called LifeLogger, which we believe will be the Next BIG THING in High-Tech industry next year.”
“The company’s vision might sound like it’s coming straight out of a Star Trek film, and may even seem far-fetched, but their idea is truly brilliant and is reality today,” Steiner reports. “Lifelogger helps record your life (or the most important parts of it) by recording video/audio/gps information through the wearable POV [camera]. The recorded information can then be uploaded on the cloud, where it is processed/stored. The software extracts the faces you have seen, convert the words you said into a searchable text format, as well as OCR any street signs or other text that you read. All this along the GPS coordinates of your location at the time of recording. It even lets you track the direction in which you were looking.”
Steiner reports, “This is as close as we can get to augmented memory and the potential of life-logging either for personal or professional use is truly unlimited.”

Does it really need to be recorded in detail?
On the other hand, this should be a REQUIRED piece of equipment for all police officers.
That sounds great. However in too many cases where police have cameras, dash cams, etc, they seem to be broken or just off. Remember that the police control the recording. Would be great if the cameras would record remotely to outside source. But as long as they get to the recordings first only the ones that exonerate the cop will survive. Has happened many times. And anyway, there were five recordings in NY takedown and still the police were in the clear. Do not put you trust in body cams, they always fail to convict police.
Audio and video automatically uploaded to a neutral 3rd party site in the cloud. And if his camera is off or inoperable the cop doesn’t get paid for that time period.

Wouldn’t it take a lifetime to watch a lifetime’s worth of moments? Last I checked I get just one. And I remember 0.001% of my life because the rest, while awesome in a general glad-to-be-alive type sense, is really quite monotonous, or would be if watched in HD on my Mac.

If people hated the untrusiveness of being filmed by Google Glass, they’re gonna love this.
Seeing as people have revolted against Google Glass, I don’t see this being something the general public embraces. Or tolerates.
Hope it comes with a built in face shield to deflect incoming punches.
