This number boggles the mind. One can imagine Apple selling the same 10 million iPhones in China as they sold in the entire rest of the world where the product first launched, in the same first 3 days.

I just now flew into Thailand through Tokyo from the US. Mine is still the only six plus I’ve seen (not surpassingly, given the supply constraint). I did see several sixes though.
And FWIW, I wasn’t certain before, but I am absolutely loving the six plus.
Not true. Chinese use normal keyboards for typing and it is way faster. Only older generations (at least 50 yr old) may prefer to “draw”. Most prefer bigger phones to watch movies.
And to think that SJ forecasted 10 million iPhones sold its first 12 months back in 2007! If only he could enjoy the numbers today.
The pundits were skeptical about the iPhone then and I’m sure they’re still skeptical about the iPhone now. What’s odd is that Apple and the iPhone has changed the entire phone industry over the last six years and people are still waiting for Apple and the iPhone to fail.
I’m going to China with a large group of Americans & stand in line to get 2 iPhones each & bring it back to the U.S. to sell here!
