The first Ferrari FF equipped with the Apple CarPlay system has gone to an Italian client.
Deliveries of the Ferraris sporting the innovative integrated Apple technology commenced over the last few days and the cars are now arriving at their final destinations and will hit the road all over the world. In Europe, they are bound for Germany, Great Britain, France and Switzerland while others have been dispatched to the United States and Japan.
Apple CarPlay is the smarter, safer and fun way to use iPhone in your car. An incredibly intuitive system, CarPlay allows you to make calls, use maps, listen to music and access messages with a single word or touch of the central display.
Apple CarPlay is also available for the Ferrari California T, the mid-front-engined V8 Turbo unveiled at the last Geneva Motor Show.

Fricken’ Failure.
A preposition is an incorrect word to end a sentence with.
It is exactly this sort of disparaging implication up with which I will not put
Fake: who in Europe uses miles and feet?! \s
Haha. Although… given that it’s a Ferrari, it’s probably a wealthy American who took his car with him on Vacation… especially given his accent.
Great! Time to sell my Yugo at last!
While it’s good, I am not 100% satisfied with the implementation. The acknowledgement tone is somewhat abrupt. I want it to be smoother, more gentle. I also want to see it completely “hands on the wheel” using the buttons on the steering wheel instead of having to reach over and touch the screen. That requires eyes being taken off the road.
Waiting for Car Play before I buy my new AMG Merc.
Wonder if I can get one to review for a month or more.
It would be nice if Siri were that quick to respond with accurate results. Perhaps Apple has done some upgrades to improve its responsiveness and is just now rolling them out?
Please Jeep, have CarPlay in new Wranglers before my lease runs out next May. I want to get a new one when my lease is due and I really want CarPlay. Is that asking too much?
Probably so…
I was gonna get a Kia, but I guess I’ll get a Ferrari instead.
Does it come in the Hot Wheels version?
If only iOS allowed you change the default map app. I know that Maps has come a long way, but I still prefer Waze.
