  1. What about iPhone (icard) …a complete payment system for both the consumer and merchant……use iphone for choice of MC, Visa or the “icard” (a wholly owned apple bank..no middleman). 500million itunes accounts, fingerprint ID , scanner……what more could you ask!

  2. “• iPhone 6 brings 4.5G”

Where the hell did that marketing-speak come from?! 4.5G???? Seriously?

The fact is that NO ONE offers REAL 4G anywhere on the planet yet. It’s all just higher end 3G in the form of LTE. Once we get ‘LTE Advanced’, REAL 4G will have arrived.

Meanwhile the marketing moronic are foisting some idiotic blahblah of ‘4.5G’? Talk about reality distortion!

    1. I love this:

Got 4G? Wake up, grandad. We’re doing 4.5G LTE-A in London – EE chief
And get a load of our gleaming voice system! It’s, erm, 2G actually

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

It’s creepy to see this crap applied to consumer product services. Creepy.

  3. The raised lens is bogus. It came from what I believe is a fake iPhone 6 counterfeit that screamed bogus on all sides. The screen bezel had unequal top and bottom bands as well as too wide side borders, making the width of the overall phone at least an eighth inch wider than it needed to be. Then from there it had bulging side frame that widened it even more in a poorly brushed aluminum. Fit of buttons, bevel on screen, etc, did not meet Apple standards. . . and the protruding lens is a 90° ugly bezeled lens that can easily catch hair under the bezel rim, You could SEE the gap! The lens would drag and catch on seams in pockets, and the iPhone would never rest flat on a surface. The back had ugly 1-2mm white silicone bands running across the top and bottom that would require extra parts, machining, and assembly, never seen on an iPhone before. Such seams are complexity that add failure points. Finally, the thing was at least a millimeter THICKER than the iPhone 5S before adding the lens thickness.
