I think we can expect good things to come from future headphones. Apple made NO mention of the quality of the product – only the love of music by the employees. It’s going to be interesting to see what the companies come up with.

This deal just sucks so many ways and makes no sense whatsoever. Beats is me too streaming, lame hardware and fashion over function.

Well, is it maybe, just a little bit possible, that you don’t have all the details? Also keep in mind that sound is extremely subjective. I don’t particularly care for the Beats sound profile, but my 18 year old son saved a few months to own a pair. He blew off my shures, my seinhausers, and my klipsch, just wanted those Beats.

How do you pronounce “Iovine”? I’ve never heard it spoken out loud, just seen it in print. Is it like “yo-vine”? “eye-oh-vine”? something else?
He’s descended from Italian winemakers. In Italian, like all Latin-based languages, an “I” is typically pronounced as an English long “E”. i.e., Iovine = “EE – OH – VEEN”
note that same pronunciation for “I” is true in other languages,
