Apple officially welcomes Beats Music and Beats Electronics to the Apple family

Apple today officially welcomed Beats Music and Beats Electronics to the Apple family:

Today we are excited to officially welcome Beats Music and Beats Electronics to the Apple family. Music has always held a special place in our hearts, and we’re thrilled to join forces with a group of people who love it as much as we do. Beats cofounders Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre have created beautiful products that have helped millions of people deepen their connection to music. We’re delighted to be working with the team to elevate that experience even further.

And we can’t wait to hear what’s next.

  1. I think we can expect good things to come from future headphones. Apple made NO mention of the quality of the product – only the love of music by the employees. It’s going to be interesting to see what the companies come up with.

I don’t particularly care for the Beats sound profile, but my 18 year old son saved a few months to own a pair. He blew off my shures, my seinhausers, and my klipsch, just wanted those Beats.

  2. HP Beats Audio special edition laptop & desktop computers just got owned by Apple. Apple demolished old HP Cupertino campus & has landed the new Apple HQ Mothership onto its beautiful green orchard campus. BOOM!

    1. He’s descended from Italian winemakers. In Italian, like all Latin-based languages, an “I” is typically pronounced as an English long “E”. i.e., Iovine = “EE – OH – VEEN”

note that same pronunciation for “I” is true in other languages,
      i.e., Iraq = “EE – ROCK” , and Iran = “EE – RAN”.

The long “I” sound (“EYE”) isn’t very common in most other languages outside of the US of Amer -EYE – ca.
