According to Apple SVP Eddy Cue and new acqui-hire Jimmy Iovine, the post-Jobs Apple would make the company’s late co-founder Steve Jobs proud.

There are other people that they’ve added to the team that are amazing, plus the team that they have. Jony, you know, this guy’s incredible. Incredible people. I bought Apple stock after interviewing and being turned down. They make good decisions.
Cast aside the MacBooks, iPhones, and iPads. Apple TV was nice too, but cast that aside, along with any other product he touched.

Apple has long been attacked by detractors as a fashion house that charges high prices for stylish but marginal crap. Buying Beats and hiring from Burberry only feeds that impression.
