“Investors and customers alike are waiting with bated breath for Apple’s yet to be announced iPhone 6, which is expected to be a ‘game changer,'” StreetInsider reports. “Today, to their delight, Mizuho Securities analyst Abhey Lamba said his checks suggest the device is coming much sooner than expected.”
“Lamba said his checks in Asia and Japan indicate that a July introduction of the new lineup is a possibility, although it is still too early to know for sure. The analyst notes supply chainvendors are getting ready for an earlier ramp up of production versus prior years,” StreetInsider reports. “Lamba also sees multiple models of the phone. His checks indicate that Apple could introduce multiple models of the phone with display sizes varying from 4.7-inch to 5.5-inch.”
“In addition, checks also indicated that the company seems to be gearing up to launch a watch and next generation Apple TV later this year,” StreetInsider reports. “‘While the timing of the launches is uncertain, we would expect these products to be introduced in 2H14,’ he said.”

Checks indicated the sun may come up tomorrow. If true, it may also set the same day.
These blow hards must like the sound of there own voices.
Another rumor every 10 minutes. And literally none of them pan out.
Well, I think it’s fair to say that any rumour that says Apple will produce a new iPhone this September, called the iPhone 6, is likely to be a fairly safe bet.
I’d love for the iPhone 6 to come out in July because that’s just in time for my upgrade. Why do you guys get so upset?
“Why do you guys get so upset?”
That’s a question that keeps popping into my mind when I read scads of extreme emotional reactions to commonplace market offerings.
I don’t see any of that hysteria when I analyse domestic commodities like cleaning agents or furniture.
There’s something different about personal electronics, particularly computing devices, that triggers in certain consumers some primitive, instinctual reaction.
It seems you are, thankfully, immune from such ‘product partisanship,’ and behave as a classically rational economic citizen. If everyone were as dispassionate, the science of Economics might actually work.
I completely agree! … even though I read this a whole 2 months later. lol
*Sigh*
Another reason for an earlier ramp-up might be that Apple wants to have sufficient supply on hand to meet demand.
I seriously doubt 4.7″ AND 5.5″ screen sizes. Apple would also carry over the current 5 screen size. I don’t see Apple wanting 3 screen sizes, plus two tablet screen sizes.
It’s certainly a big pain to both Apple and developers to add yet-another screen size on iOS devices. If it happens, from past experience we’d expect standard Retina pixel dimensions in order to keep things simple for everyone.
What? No analyst report with an imminent Apple Television this year? The iWatch is the new iTelevision, but at least the iWatch is plausible product.
No I take that back, the 13″ jumbo iPad is the new iTelevision. Let’s hold our breath for both of these products.
Pure Hogwash! Create a fake check to get a check!
Apple releases iPhone 6 , AAPL tanks.
😆 All I can do is laugh at the surreality of the Apple Bear Bullshit phenomenon. 😆
Dead money crawling. The quicksand of tech stocks. Period.
A three-fisted Apple punch. <– Wouldn't that be great? 😀
In April 2013 Cook said that there will be “really great stuff coming in the fall and across ALL of 2014.” It is almost March so where is the really great stuff? I really hope this report is not true and there will be something great before June.
Have you seen the iPhone 5s, iPad mini retina, iPad Air, Mac Pro, MacBook Air? Guess not.
Have you seen their release dates? I guess not!
More blah blah blah to get page hits. Blah blah blah. Maybe someone’s pay check should depend on reporting the facts instead of the usual meaningless b.s. Blah blah blah, same crap everyone else makes up, blah blah blah
Apple needs to deliver new products sooner rather than later.
Look at MacRumors’ Buyers’ Guide:
http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/
There are only 2 fresh products on the list: iPad mini and Mac Pro — and the Mac Pro you won’t get until ~ April.
VERY disappointing, Apple!!!
With the number of products Apple currently makes, one should expect at least one product update every quarter. Instead, Cook delivers vague promises and the press releases are nonexistent. Apple’s “Hot News” page is as cold as a dead penguin in Antarctica. No wonder analysts have determined Apple lost its mojo. It isn’t even delivering modest product updates in a timely manner anymore.
