Arem Duplessis leaves New York Times Magazine for Apple

  1. MDN’s link takes one to a page where it says this…
“Coverjunkie is an addiction to magazine covers you wanna lick. A celebration of creative covers & their ace designers.”

Designs and art is subjective to be sure. I took a look at the works on that web page and there is nothing I saw that “I wanted to lick.”

Maybe better luck at Apple. Welcome aboard Arem.

  2. “This rearranging of artistic deck chairs won’t bring us the next iPhone any faster,” Nate Ralph writes for VentureBeat.”

This artistic genius of our time will bring a cohesive and authoritative theme to Apple visuals (branding) missing since the messiah masterstroke passing …

Overheard at that last meeting with the President…
Barack-“Come on Tim, just one black guy at Apple, just one at least. But don’t him be too black.”
Tim- “That’s an area we have a lot of interest in…”

  3. I subscribe to the NYT and read it online, so I never look at the covers. Now that I have, I am not that impressed.

Maybe he can use his artistic abilities to tone down iOS7.
