With respect to the new Mac Pro and how it will be copied by competitors within a year:
Samsung lawyer/fan: “Oh, come on! It was a completely obvious form factor . . . Does Apple own the cylinder shape????”
I was at Fry’s and there is already a router with the Mac Pro shape.

slightly modified to avoid the copied charge
Samsung is not in the desktop Mac space.
Maybe they can make a toaster out of the design.
I think it would have to be a bagel toaster. 😉
A refrigerator with a bagel toaster-brilliant?
I already use inductive charging for my magic mouse, apple keyboard and apple trackpad. Works great.
What do you use?
I thought Quaker Oats owned the cylindrical packaging patent for the construction of crystal radios.
I remember my dad making us a crystal set with the Quaker Oats container maybe 60 years ago. I can see him winding the wire around it. Haven’t thought of that in years. Thanks for the reminder.
Oh yeah that micrsoft-ish paper tiger known as the New Mac Pro. The one available in December. But wait it IS December and it is not available….
We should rename it Mac NT. That way Apple can hold off shipping it for another year.
You should know by now that Apple always means the “end” of December, not the “first”. If they say 3rd quarter, they mean the end of the 3rd quarter, and so on.
