    1. Anyone else get the error “software download is corrupted” when trying to update using iTunes on a Mac? Very frustrating and had this same problem with previous updates. No amount of reboots or re-downloading file seems to fix. Strange.

  1. Now for all the iPhone naysayers. Try upgrading the software on your flavor of the month smart phone. What’s that? You can’t, there are no upgrades, patches, bug fixes or features available.

Now why is that? It must be because you settled for a cheap knockoff iPhone wannabe. I guess you and your significant other can upgrade by purchasing new phones. Of course, you’ll have to wait for the next buy one, get one free offer that comes along. I’m going to upgrade my iPhone as soon as I finish this post.

    Tootles!

  2. I have an iPad Rock (aka iPad2) and could not get the update to show up until I connected it to my MacBook and went through iTunes. Huh. SuperDuper!’ing my Mid 2007 iMac to get Mavericks…

    1. Took an uncomfortably long amount of time to do the update (20-25mins, download was quick), but made it OK. Zooming around is all gone with Reduce Motion turned on. Now it is just fade in/out. Still didn’t fix my one gripe – the bookmarks bar in Safari does not seem to respond to the Dynamic Type setting. They seem to get bolder with that setting, but not bigger. Seems OK so far.

In the middle of 43 min update on Mavericks.

  3. Since iOS7 our iPads (not just mine) freeze and crash daily, sometimes several times a day including when synching with iTunes. This update did not fix that and so far seems to have made it worse.

  4. Update 7.03 seems faster and smoother, however, sometimes touching the screen quickly after launching say settings shows some lag. Touch does not respond as quickly as before. This seems to only happen when screen is touched immediately upon launching said app. But hey, everything else seems fine. Thanks. IPad owner.

    1. Did you get this issue fixed? My iphone 4 is giving me the same message. “waiting for activation”. My imessage used to work fine until this 7.03 update. Now all my texts are green. I’ve turned the phone on and off several times and this does not seem to help.

  5. I have just updated my iPad 2 to iOS 7.0.3. Then I found my ipad has no sound at all when i am on youtube or playing music or any game. After rebooting the device, the sound came back but it’s of a very poor quality! Anyone out there facing the same problem? How to get it fixed?
