“Chinese site DoNews has posted two photos of what it claims is a champagne-colored iPad Mini 2 with Touch ID fingerprint sensor,” Ben Lovejoy reports for 9to5Mac.
“Sonny Dickson also tweeted a photo of what he says is the casing of the iPad Mini 2 in another iPhone 5s color, Space Gray,” Lovejoy reports. “Both are consistent with earlier claimed casing leaks by French site NWE – this link also shows some concept renders by Martin Hajek. Dickson also separately tweeted that the device has Touch ID.”

Me, too, although it’s my wife’s iPad, and she still can’t stand the new icons. I’m sure Apple has positive changes coming in the future, but I think a little less neon with Phone, Messages, FaceTime and Mail could work wonders in converting her over. Maybe a little shadowing, too. Anyway, I’m never going back.
Saw the new phones for the first time yesterday. I thought the gold ones were kind of ugly. I think white>black> gold.

I don’t care about the color, will they finally have proper stereo speakers in landscape mode ? That’s how most people use their iPads and it drives me nuts to have audio on one side! Doesn’t look like in based on this photo 🙁
I kind of figured that the mini would be like the 5c and the 9″ like the 5s. I therefore wonder if there is going to be a third category of iPad?
