“French site MacG suggests that Kevin Lynch, the former CTO of Adobe hired by Apple almost a month ago, may now be heading up the iWatch project. Lynch is a VP of Technologies, reporting directly to Senior VP Bob Mansfield,” Ben Lovejoy reports for 9to5Mac.
The engineers include Robert Curtis (who worked for several years on iPod firmware) and Steven Bollinger (the author of several Apple patents for the iPod, iPad user-interface and multi-touch screens). – MacG via 9to5Mac.

My point is that Apple’s product cycles, product development, and marketing are out of whack. That last marketing Email they sent touting the JD Power award stuff. What the hell is a JD Power award? To most people outside the US it’s meaningless.

Actually JD Power is rather well regarded here due to cars not sure about the rest of Europe mind.
I suppose it would make sense to perhaps adapt the ipod nano OS to a watch, than to squeeze iOS onto it, as it would seem to be somewhat overkill for such a small device with far lower operational requirements.
The original article doesn’t say that Lynch’s team is working on the iWatch:

Wozzie, I can understand your hatred of Adobe. However, He’s a good guy and really just a hired gun. Lastly, Why would Ahem,,,Apple hired him.. Do you think they are so blind to where he came from and his loyalties? They would know, they asked the questions and they hired him. Of course I am sure you have assembled a team currently working for you with some of the best individuals that Silicon Valley has to offer.. Yeah, silly apple, they don’t know what they are doing..
I worked Kevin for a few years. He is a very talented individual. HE was very involved in many projects at Adobe that have nothing to do with what the world knows of Adobe. He is very smart and do a google image search and one quickly finds he looks a lot like Harry Potter. I wish the best for him and most of now he can get that stench of Adobe off of him.
