Nothing has been halted, nothing has been changed. There is no iPad mini, or any other small form factor iPad.

Looks like MDN is trying to get extra hits now with that title that makes it sound like iPad mini production has halted. Pretty sad if that’s the case.

What’s the point of even reporting this sort of rumor since the iPad Mini hasn’t even a set date of sale yet. Apple could still be ahead of schedule and we don’t even know how many iPad Mini units are affected by the change. Too much useless speculation. Who’s this information for, anyhow?
If the cases are being made by computerized (CNC) milling machines, a design change would be very simple to implement and would only take a couple of hours at most.
