iPhone buyers in nine countries were queuing up to purchase Apple’s new iPhone 5 today. The nine countries that are first to get the latest version of the iconic device are: US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and the UK.
“It’s too early to say whether the lines that greeted Apple’s latest mobile phone are longer or shorter than those for the iPhone 4S last year,” Philip Elmer-DeWitt reports for Fortune.
P.E.D. reports, “But the videos coming in from overseas suggest that demand remains strong.”

I’m going to buy a Samsung SIII! That way, (I saw this on TV!) if I want to send my buddy a copy of my playlist, I can compose the list, take my SIII in a limo to the airport, fly to New York, catch a connection to Montreal, take a limo downtown (“Bonjour, Mademoiselle!”), ride the Metro and then grab a cab to the Barroco. My friend will meet me at the bar, and that’s when the Samsung magic happens – we will Bump-Squirt my play-list to his phone! YES!! So fun! So EASY!

And this with the “boring” iPhone 5. Can you imagine the lines with an “exciting” iPhone 5?
Most of the young people who line up for these overpriced toys are the very same people who go out protesting because they apparently can’t afford the cheapest tuition fees in Canada. It’s honestly amazing how people’s priorities are so backwards these days! I literally know three people who are beyond anxious to get this phone despite the fact that they’re currently unemployed, barely have any savings whatsoever, have more condiments than food in their fridges, pay their rent late more often than not, and constantly pay interest on their credit cards each month because they’re always buying crap they don’t need and only make minimum monthly payments. The funny thing is these pathetic individuals actually think they’re getting ahead of the game and impressing their peers by always having the newest gadgets!
And this has relevance, why?
Samdump may copy iphones, but what samdump have failed to copy is the sucess of the itunes and the passionate iphone users who can be seen in the video clips. Never will samdump customers ever line up like that. Hell, even the model who was hired by samsung was carrying an iphone 4 or 4 s 😝
Suck on that Samsung. Change your corporate colors from blue to green (with envy) so that your commercials aren’t the only evidence of it.
