“In addition to today’s iTunes Match expansion to Hungary and Poland, Apple has also undertaken a significant expansion of its iTunes in the Cloud feature, adding movies to the list of eligible items in the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand,” Eric Slivka reports for MacRumors. “Ireland, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Venezuela, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia.”
“The expansion marks the first time iTunes in the Cloud has been available for movies outside of the United States,” Slivka reports. “The feature provides additional flexibility for those who have purchased movies through the iTunes Store, allowing them to download the content as needed on any computer, iOS device, or Apple TV.”

It would be so great if we could all see each other’s stuff without all the insane, inane, utterly ridiculous blockage caused by legal issues. Koreans make great gritty cop flicks, nothing like a good Ballywood musical to remind you that you aren’t the center of the universe, and Brits, I would love to not have to wait months and sometimes years to see the stuff they put on TV.
Talk about a coup, if Apple could somehow bridge world television it would be Google who? Samsung? What’s that a new kind a meat product?
