“Apple is likely to launch the iPhone 5 in September and will be coupled with the launch of the much-anticipated iPad Mini, Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White asserted in a research note this morning,” Eric Savitz reports for Forbes.
“White adds that he ‘gathered more data’ that the next iPhone will have a unibody aluminum case manufactured by Hon Hai,” Savitz reports. “But he added that his contact was skeptical about reports on the potential involvement in the iPhone 5 of Liquidmetal Technologies.”

iPad mini, it just won’t die..
Now if sept comes and no mini… It’s blame apple time again lol.
I know who to blame: TechTard Journalists. 😯
Look for Apple to release the iPad Mynah later this year. Critics will day it’s for the birds.
I’m guessing the supply chain rumor mill’s iPad “Mini” is actually the new Kindle Fire or a new larger iPod Touch.
Again this nonsense. It can not be “unibody” since if there will be metal, then there have to be quite big plastic insets. Actually, those have to be as big as half of the phone. If the height of the phone will be increased, then less.
Hasn’t the iPhone been unibody since the 4?
No; there is only metal frame, not the case. And even this metal frame consists of few separate parts.
I say I say, that should be ‘aluminium’, eh chaps?
the much-anticipated iPad Mini
No it’s not. AND it’s not gonna happen.
2012: Worst year EVER for stupid Apple rumors.
So much for all those Liquidmetal wet dreams.
