Viacom and Time Warner Cable reach deal on iPad app for streaming programs

“Time Warner Cable subscribers will soon have another way to stream ‘The Daily Show With Jon Stewart’ and ‘Jersey Shore’ on iPads,” Amy Chozick reports for The New York Times.

    1. Comedy Central currently airs South Park
Nickelodeon currently airs Avatar: The Legend of Korra

Either of those are good enough reasons for this news to delight me.

  1. It looks like Time Warner is finally getting on the side of their customers and giving them what they want. I think that as long as you are paying for content you should be able to stream it when and where you want and Time Warner seems to be slowly moving in that direction. They should follow in the footsteps of my Dish Remote Access app because I can stream any live TV channel and anything on my DVR. Sometimes a Dish coworker and I meet down at the park for a little chess and I like to bring my tablet along so we can watch the Rockies play live. When Time Warner can do something like that, outside the house, they will have a quality app for their customers.
