Apple Store in London’s world-famous Harrods opening mid-March, may signal iPad 3 launch date

Gurman reports, “Naturally, a mid-March opening for the Harrods Apple Store brings up speculation about an iPad 3 launch date. The iPad 3 is rumored to be introduced March 7, and Apple typically launches its new products within a few weeks of the introductions.”

  1. Why in the world would an Apple store-within-a-store signal the iPad 3 introduction? Wow, talk about stretching it. Like Apple would delay opening a store in Harrold’s just to coincide with the iPad 3’s launch, which won’t be announced in Harrold’s anyway.
