“Earlier today, Faceboko CEO Mark Zuckerberg uploaded a photo of his desk to Facebook,” Edible Apple reports.
“Seems like the Facebook wunderkind is a fan of the MacBook Air,” Edible Apple reports. “And taking a look around the office, seems like Facebook HQ is quite Mac heavy.”

newsflash, so is google and linkedin. the latter used to give new employees a mac pro and MBP
facebook is full of developers. OS X is the second largest development platform behind Windows
And with a Mac, you can develop for all platforms.
Good.
So when Facebook starts to decline we might be able to pickup a bunch of used Macs.
Did some consulting work for Facebook where I worked in their office for about 3 weeks. Yes, every single employee is giving a MacBook Pro. They even have a ‘genius bar-like’ set-up where you can take your laptop in if you’re experiencing any issues or have questions.
They want to keep their employees happy. Like me: 25 employees, 25 iMac 27″, a dozen MBA and MBP, 25 iPads, 25 iPhones. Get the idea why I believe AAPL shares? Lots of companies are upgrading either from older Macs or from Windows. There is a huge market in the very near future, company adoption just has started.
Thats nice, but they blew it with the FB app for iOS. It’s a piece of crap at the moment.
+1!
Really? In what way, exactly? I use it all the time, and I really like the most recent version, it looks good, it’s easy to navigate, I like the notification system…
I honestly don’t see what issues there could be. I’d say the iOS version is far superior to the desktop version, but then, I never use that, as my computer’s a Mac Mini between my 40″ Bravia and my big Yamaha a/v amp, used mainly for music.
The newest version is better, but it is definitely still shit.
For the past 8 years, the innovative developers and companies have used Macs.
Anyone remember the term Alpha-geek that O’Reilly coined a number of years ago?
80% Mac.
“faceboko” ? Isn’t that the name of Samsung’s competing service?
Nice to see Zuckerberg use the right tools for the job, despite Microsoft having a stake in FB.

Windows: The bad old days. Always the has-been.

Ah, the good old days, when you had the hot stenographer sit on your lap and take dictation when you wanted to communicate with someone.
No phone made is as hot as my last stenographer was.
Must have RUSHED this in depth article.
