“Employees throughout Apple were surprised this week with hoodies and some departments were even given personalized notes from higher-level staff,” Mark Gurman reports for 9to5Mac.
“The hoodies are a nice holiday gesture from Apple to employees as a “thank you” for a great year of work,” Gurman reports. “This thank you is, of course, in addition to the extra vacation time during the Thanksgiving holiday.”

Because it gets so cold in Cupertino? It sounds suspiciously like towels from M$.
Microsloth took the employees’ towels away to cut costs.
Apple gave employees, may of whom do not work in Cupertino (where it does indeed get cold enough for a hoodie), a holiday gift.
Otherwise, it’s completely the same.
Somebody has never been to Northern California. It DOES get cold.
Finally they paid a dividend;)
Just another touch of class
Yes, a $50 hoodie is so much more classy than a $500 raise.
yes, it was an either/or proposition
Logical fallacy
Fail
I’d like one of those.
I’m assuming the Apple logo is on the hoodie and the 9to5mac.com is a watermark from the website. Odd placement, tho.
I will buy one black market. No 9 to 5 logo of course
Nice marketing, now we all just have to have one!!
Did they get the hoodies from Old Navy, perchance?
Gap makes great hoodies- they should be all black, soft, with just Apple logo. Jobsian simplicity.
So hand out hoodies so that everyone can look like a hood. I see the maroons walking around the mall in 75% temperatures wearing the uniform (to be different) hoodies.
The bidding war has taken the hoodie to over a grand on fleaBay…
And you know, it doesn’t say it’s the real thing. It says “like” the ones given to Apple employees, which means it’s probably a fake!
Some people are really gullible.
