Apple’s new campus will put on a spectacular show every year, starting on Steve Jobs’ birthday

“The City of Cupertino published more details on Apple’s enormous new circular headquarters Tuesday,” Brian Caulfield reports Forbes. “And if you’re looking for ‘one last thing,’ that final flourish Apple Chief Steve Jobs was known for, the plans reveal it — and it’s wonderful.”

“In late February, around the time of Jobs’ birthday, the show will begin. Pink and white plum blossoms will appear on stands of trees at the center of Apple’s new campus, hinting at more to come,” Caulfield reports. “A few weeks later cherry trees scattered strategically along walkways and at the edges of open glades will start to blossom.”

        1. Fair enough. Since I can’t stand pretty much anything Disney and even 4 Pixar stuff: Toy Story 3, both the Cars and WALL-E (yes you read me correct); so really, who am I to claim a good taste.

So yeah, it’s a personal preference. I stand corrected.

        2. You’d be a perfectly fine person for not standing Cars (it is is sub-par), but not liking Toy Story 3 and Wall-E pretty much makes you a grumpy heartless man =D

  1. How many CEOs would personally go to the city council to give such a good presentation, with enthusiasm and historical perspective, while near death, barely able to breathe, and knowing every ounce of his remaining energy is building a future he will not see in the current body? Steve Jobs is a great and brave soul. Earth was so blessed. Thank goodness these things were videotaped.

  2. Sounds a glorious tribute to the man’s vision.

As for the jam, well, my single crabapple tree provides the makings for heaps of delicious jelly every year.

So maybe Apple could start a Mothership cottage industry in mixed-fruit deliciousness. Yum!

  4. Did anyone else go to the renderings on the City of Cupertino website?

Is it me, or does the ring look blurred like it is spinning in those renderings?

Maybe this really will be the Apple starship?
