Apple debuts new ‘Love’ iPad 2 television ad (with video)

Apple has debuted a new television ad for iPad 2, “Love,” on U.S. broadcast and cable networks.

The ad’s voiceover reads:

For some, it’s a life-long passion. For others, it’s something discovered yesterday. We all have things that speak to us. They drive us to get up early… and stay up late. Getting lost in the things we love has never felt quite like this.

      1. But the voice of this guy is still too old; I have no idea why people are so overexcited about it.

I understand that older audience is very important, but they do not have to use the same voice for all of their iPad advertisements.

        1. Peter Coyote has simply a real great and likable voice. It’s emotional, not pseudo-uberhip. It’s classy, not bling. His voice connects to the audience, not screams and yells at them like Ballmer. It’s not about only the older audience. It’s just Apple.

          That’s not the Apple way.

  1. On every non-apple phone/tablet ad I’ve seen there is always the small gray type at the bottom that says “Screen images simulated” while all Apple usually has is “Some sequences shortened” I think that’s very telling, right there.
