“Since the unveiling of its iPhone 4S back in October, Apple has received heaps of praise for one of its new features in particular: Siri,” Killian Bell reports for Cult of Mac.
“The digital assistant is by far the most impressive voice recognition service built into a mobile device, and it seems everyone has been blown away by it,” Bell reports. “What many of you may not know, however, is that Siri is one of the few Apple products that wasn’t created by the team in Cupertino.”
Bell reports, “Instead, Siri was created by Dag Kittlaus, a 34-year-old man from Norway, and it has made him a multimillionaire… In a profile by Norwegian publication E24!, Kittlaus revealed Siri won’t always be exclusive to the iPhone, claiming Apple ‘will produce TVs with Siri as an integral part of the package’ by 2013. Kittlaus won’t be there to develop those TVs, however, because he’s no longer with the company.”

This man worked for Steven for like under two years. When you read Isaacson’s book, bear in mind that the stories how tyrannical Jobs was come from like 25 years ogo. Jobs had colleagues that worked for him for decades and while they agreed to be brutally honest to each other, there obviously was never actual disrespect.
And the earlier cases of Jobs’ tyranny were driven by his obsessive perfectionism. And, sometimes, these harsh cases were fair in terms of that these people whom Steven fired did not meet the needed level of perfectionism he required.
