    1. I saw someone using an Android with one of those larger screens the other day. It looked like they had a Walkman CD player against their ear. And the one non-functional one I saw behind glass was just as clumsy looking to me.

We get that you have Android big-screen envy, since you use EVERY post to share. But I don’t think the screen could be very much larger and still be comfortable to the majority of customers. You may have hands like Andre the Giant, but most people do not.

Like Steve Jobs said, focus is about saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. A large screen may be a “good idea”, but a “great” idea is making the sharpest screen that is comfortable for most people.

  1. I sure would like to stop by and buy an iPhone 4S for my wife’s but I can’t have one. I have tried several times now. Both at the store and on line with reserved store pick-up. Why? Maybe because Apple is maxed out and shipping all around the world first. As a stock owner, this is great. As one of Apple’s oldest customers, this sucks.

I guess she will get the iPhone 4S for Christmas and I will up grade her iPad instead.

  2. Is there rampant inflation in Greece?!? I thought being on the Euro helped keep inflation in check?

Anyhow, I wonder how South Korea’s attempt to block the sale of the iPhone 4S is going. Actually, that should be Samsung’s attempt to block the sale in S Korea.

    1. The rampant inflation occurs in the underground economy. How do you think the average Greek supports himself? By holding down two jobs. One the official government job where he mopes about being paid in pretend Euros and the night shift where he’s paid in real Euros to feed his family.

      1. The government pays in “pretend Euros”?!?

I thought I read that the Greeks didn’t go to their government jobs more than half the time since there were not enough desks for everyone, or was that Italy?

        1. The Greek government is technically and financially insolvent. It can’t afford to pay its workers. So it makes it all up by pretending to pay them while they goof off to real jobs elsewhere. The Greek government directly and indirectly employ 75% of the their workforce there. It’s huge, hulking and still buried in socialist precepts.

  3. you guys are clueless and pathetic to be dissing on Greece in a topic that has nothing to do with politics or economy. Shame in you and go get a clue before you speak about what is going on.

  4. you guys are clueless and pathetic to be dissing on Greece in a topic that has nothing to do with politics or economy. Shame in you and go get a clue before you speak about what is going on.

You are all sad little people.

  5. If Greeks didn’t exist then you wouldn’t have even a clue of what civilization is. You can’t judge a country only by its economy, you must take in mind the history. As you all have heard history repeats itself after all… So please do me a favor and think twice before you say something bad for such a country. Greeks will always survive.

  6. American idiots, you act like robots.. You will always be jealous for greek people and greek civilization..

Your Holywood actors, your Holywood movies, even though your idol Steve Jobs, have in mind Greece as the biggest positive affect in human civilization…

So, shut up your mouth and think that even though Greece is a small country, a pointless market for Apple because of the 11.000.000 people, Lion 10.7.3 upgrade, on OS X will have, apart from other languges, the greek language on ui environment…
