“Samsung has responded to earlier reports of Apple stopping Samsung from selling their Galaxy Tab 10.1 dual-core Android tablet in essentially the entirety of Europe, having run an injunction against them in Germany,” Chris Burns reports for SlashGear.
Samsung is disappointed with the court’s decision and we intend to act immediately to defend our intellectual property rights through the ongoing legal proceedings in Germany and will continue to actively defend these rights throughout the world.
The request for injunction was filed with no notice to Samsung, and the order was issued without any hearing or presentation of evidence from Samsung.
We will take all necessary measures to ensure Samsung’s innovative mobile communications devices are available to customers in Europe and around the world.
This decision by the court in Germany in no way influences other legal proceedings filed with the courts in Europe and elsewhere. – Kim Titus, Samsung Director of Public Relations

Damn! I guess they should’ve posted those phone & tablet sales numbers. It would’ve probably shown that they’re not really competition for Apple after all. I’m not sure why Samsung is killing itself to push products NO one is really buying anyway. Their numbers only look good in comparison to other Android OEM’s.
Samsung’s intellectual property rights is the patented method of how to steal other’s IPs without paying for them. Samsung and gang, especially Google are masters of counterfeits.
Defend THEIR intellectual property rights!? Don’t they mean Apples? I love how all these companies, especially Google, are trying to justify intellectual patented property theft. Like it’s no big deal, or Apples running scared, or how patents were made to encourage innovation (yeah by protecting the holder from people like you ripping them off and then even offering it up for free). Pay for your own R&D leeches! A serious breach of ethics and morals. Sue the crap out of them Apple! Apparenty some companies need to learn this the hard way.

Apple spent countless years to develop a tablet unlike anything on the market at that time. Now companies copy Apples hard work and yell that patents are holding up innovation, needs to overhauled, and dislike for Apple in purchasing patents to keep patent trolls out of their way. Yet, the moment Apple files a legal action, these same companies go running back, grab a box of IP, and yell we will protect our property!
For love of common sense! Don’t yell foul when the product you make looks like it came off a slightly blemished copier!
