RUMOR: Apple iPhone 5 shows up in Korean carrier KT’s system

“We heard a few weeks ago that the fifth-generation iPhone has appeared in carrier databases at couple of high-profile European iPhone carriers, and today we are hearing this once again: from Korea,” Mark Gurman reports for 9to5Mac. “We cannot absolutely confirm that the new device is in the KT (Korea Telecom) system, but it sounds and looks likely. We also heard it from two independent sources.”

Gurman reports, “The SKUs are being referred to internally as AIP5, which obviously stands for Apple iPhone 5. This is a level up from the iPhone 4′s SKU name: AIP4. The interesting part here is that both SKUs are attached to 16 GB and 32 GB capacities.”

  1. Dear Korean mobile phone consumers:
Please consider boycotting Samsung. Many of us believe they do you disservice by tarnishing your honest, hardworking image.
    Best wishes.

  2. I would like to believe Apple will add 3G device to the next generation of iPod touch. Since Hopie uses texting so much and rarely answers the phone, iOS5 would be a blessing for cutting down on the cost on phone service. Pay for the data and iOS would push messages back and forth for free!

An extra beanie would be to have the iPod touch support all the major carriers too! Then all will be balance in the world- will except for Google, Microsoft, and Samsung ( the Axis of Evil, snickering)

iPhone 5 would be nice but the girls I know live on texting and Facebook!!! Flummoxes me 😉
