Apple’s iOS 5 beta 2 enables wireless sync with iTunes 10.5 beta 2

“Apple on Friday released the second private beta of iOS 5.0 which enables wireless syncing of iOS devices to a new beta of iTunes 10.5,” AppleInsider reports. “Both pieces of software are available to registered Apple developers.”

AppleInsider reports, “Those developers looking to try out wireless syncing will be required to install iTunes 10.5 beta 2 on a Mac running either Mac OS X 10.6.8 or Mac OS X Lion.”

    1. you have to DL the new iOS beta and do the upgrade via the new iTunes.. Hold option down when yo hit restore and it will let you select the new iOS DL. A couple new blank backups will be made if you kept restoring it to 4.33 so make sure you restore to your last full backup when it prompts.

    1. iTunes home sharing over wifi doesn’t seem to work with WIFI B+G setting. Open your router connection settings page and change wifi mode from [B AND G] to [G ONLY] and then your iPad should connect to iTunes.
