Apple investigating to find cause of Foxconn factory explosion in China

“Apple said on Friday that it is working with contract manufacturer Foxconn to understand what caused an explosion at a China factory where Foxconn makes goods for Apple,” Ina Fried reports for AllThingsD.

“‘We are deeply saddened by the tragedy at Foxconn’s plant in Chengdu, and our hearts go out to the victims and their families,’ Apple said in a statement provided to AllThingsD,” Fried reports. ‘We are working closely with Foxconn to understand what caused this terrible event.'”
