“Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo with Concord Securities issued a note on Monday offering alleged details of the next iPhone,” Neil Hughes reports for AppleInsider. “His checks with supply chain sources indicated that the next handset from Apple will not feature an all-new-design, but rather only ‘slight modifications’ from the iPhone 4.”
“Specifically, Kuo has heard that the iPhone 5 will include the faster A5 processor already found in the iPad 2, as well as a higher resolution 8 megapixel rear camera,” Hughes reports. “He has also been told that Apple will switch to a Qualcomm baseband for both GSM and CDMA models, along with an improved antenna design.”
Hughes reports, “Kuo has also been told that the new iPhone will go into trial production in August and mass production in September, allowing Apple to reach shipment volumes of between 28 million and 32 million units this year. That would align with previous reports that have indicated Apple plans to make its new iPhone available for sale later than usual this year, likely in Apple’s next fiscal year beginning in October.”

People believe that some low level employee knows something or the top management is willing to give up Apple information, loose future contracts with Apple and go to jail so this idiot can screw with the minds of the people with Apple stock.

Apple stock is being dragged down so that positions can be locked in at a low price. My bet is that we will soon see a surge as the stock is pumped up by the same guys.
Frankly, I don’t understand this. Why would Apple release a white model in “Spring” and then release another so soon after? Now given that I was waiting patiently for another white phone, I’m suddenly debating whether or not to wait. Contract is up in July so what are we to do with all the rumors flying around. Time frame seems odd and the effort to push the white iPhone 4 for spring only to release another model is confusing especially if there is the possibility of a new design. If the design is radical I probably might wait. I’m a design junky and love the 3GS that’s never let me down. MDN do a poll!
Because the iPhone 5 will not feature a dramatically different form factor, just different interior bits. So releasing the white iPhone 4 will just roll into the white iPhone 5.
In other words – another “analyst” is recycling all the same rumors that have been swirling around the blogosphere for several weeks.
When Steve is standing on a stage announcing what the iPhone 5 can do, then I’ll believe it.
Yay… this makes me happy that I did not buy an iPhone 4 yet. I hope this does not have the death grip on it.

I have read a lot about this white iPhone but I have yet to see advertising for it from either Verizon or AT&T. The same goes for the iPhone 5 because there is a lot of speculation as to when it will come out but truthfully, nobody really know except for Appl and they are not talking. Anyone can say that they heard from reliable sources that it will come out in September, October or next year. Even me, but that will be false. I personally hope that Apple pulls a fast one and blows all of these rumors out of the water and does what they do best. SURPRISE, SURPRISE, Here it is in June!!
