Apple’s oft-delayed white iPhone 4 appears in Verizon stock systems

“After several false hopes along the way, Apple will finally release the white iPhone 4 very soon,” Mark Gurman reports for 9 to 5 Mac. “We’ve been expecting an AT&T version since summer 2010 and reports of a Verizon version of the white model being in the works emerged earlier this week.”

  1. even if they sell just a few hundred thousand that’s more than the sales of many Android or WP7 models.

if it’s just a hundred thousand it will match rumoured xoom sales.

  2. If you waited this long, the shoes you bought to go with your white iPhone are completely out of style now. I’m thinking you’re going to need a new purse to carry it in, too. This is going to get expensive in a hurry.

    1. You write that in jest but that is exactly where the big money is coming from. Well-heeled fashionable urbanites who want both form + function. I know at least 10 people who have been waiting for the white iPhone 4 (myself included) even though we all have the iPad 2 already (white!) and also many with the MacBook Air. Seriously!

  3. Why would you buy any color iPhone now with the next version maybe 2-3 months out? Yes I know, smart ass, no one knows for sure when the new version will be released but I suspect many at this point will wait this version out.
