I just hope they fix the highly frustrating iphone4 “cheek mute” problem every user has had, including me. It’s really frustrating to be talking to someone when your cheek accidentally mutes your call. The proximity sensor needs to be desensitized or something.
Try using a Bluetooth headset. It solves every conceivable problem with the proximity sensor. But it brings its own set of problems as the Bluetooth stack in the iPhone 4 seems to be poorly written or the Bluetooth antenna has severe attenuation problems that significantly limit radio transmissions to extremely short distances, something like 6″ when it should be designed to work at distances of up to 4′.
The iPhone 4 is pathetic in some ways. Badly implemented radios and sensors. Would have been a crock of shit if the other things hadn’t worked so well like FaceTime and retina display.
Most of the time we all think our problems are someone else(s) fault.

You don’t need any sources to figure out with the new iteration of the iPad will come a newer version of the operating system, so that the newer hardware feature set can be used/functional.
That has happened with the iPod touch in the (recent?) past.
It is unbelievable how many people think they are uncovering/discovering something exciting with their question, something most everyone has already figure it out without any sources whatsoever.
It will be interesting to see how the update affects 3G iPhones. Now my most used app is the Free Memory, without it the apps don’t work (kinda lock up or work very slow).
