You would have thought by now that the organisers would have wanted someone of credibility to give the keynote. Its like they are stuck in the nineties. Must be like groundhog day for the attendees.

I bet he really wants to announce the iPhone on Verizon in that speech. Wonder if he learned his lesson?
Seidenberg will deliver another surprise other than the “iPhone”.
Not seen it discussed anywhere but, when he announces that Verizon will release the iPhone, does he say “iPhone 4.5” or “iPhone 5”.
That statement will set off a rush of activity at ATT and in every iPhone & Mac site in the world.
If Siedenberg announces the Verizon iPhone, CES will be an afterthought.

This year’s announcement of the iPad was such a perfect counter punch to Balmy’s drivel about the HP Slate at CES just days before.
And the rate at which enterprise has taken up the iPad is so sweet!
I forgot the blog, but someone pointed out that Verizon has a 30-day guarantee, so an iPhone announcement may not happen until the end of January. Verizon doesn’t want all those new devices opened up on Christmas morning to be returned for an iPhone.
This theory is completely plausible as Apple will probably have a media event at the end of the month to announce the next iPad and any other announcements to overshadow CES.

Even without a Verizon iPhone announcement at the show, the show floor will no doubt be dominated by iPhones, iPads, iPods, and Macs, in hand of attendees and in the booths of vendors.
One company has made CES totally irrelevant.
Wouldn’t it be great if the Verizon keynote had a one more thing…. I’d like to welcome on stage Steve Jobs.
NO WAY would Steve Jobs let the CEO of Verizon announce the arrival of the iPhone.
Remember, the reason Balmy gets to grunt and sweat as keynote speaker is m$ underwrites CES.

When will Apple offer at least 4 inch screen on the IPhone? That is my only caveat with the phone. They offer multiple sizes all of their other products except for the iPhone.

Yes or how about an expandable screen. You just pull it out to whatever size you like. Or you could just put the current one closer to your face of course.
