  1. The Apple halo reaches out and lifts another company. Many are healed but more are road kill. Watch RIMM BlackBerry and Android smart phones get crushed and then thrown off the cliff as Verizon offers the real deal iPhone next quarter!

  2. Spark, AT&T is about to get some help from Verizon. Verizon’s network will get slammed as some move off from AT&T or choose Verizon this time for their congested area for their new iPhones.

Maybe we will get a better deal now with tethering. Maybe FaceTime anytime not just Wi-Fi? Maybe Apple will make a AirPort 4G Wi-Fif Bridge for the car that works on any carrier?

  3. To “Jersey Trader”,

“Some help” is about the best that can be said for network congestion. As I understand, Verizon’s network would soon be congested also.

I agree that AT&T needs to continue beefing up the network.

    Also, AT&T’s website sucks.

  4. …”as Verizon offers the real deal iPhone next quarter!”

    Still only an unsubstantiated rumour.

Apple’s 5-year exclusivity deal is still in place, and no news or even rumours have been seen yet to imply that they’ve managed to extricate themselves from that agreement.

2011 will come and go, and iPhone will still be only on AT&T in the US.

Once 2012 rolls around, however, bets are off.
