Apple is inviting online voters to choose their favorite album and song of 2010.
Choose from the year’s 20 bestselling albums and songs on iTunes, plus five more notable releases chosen by iTunes music editors.
Voting closes at midnight on December 19th. Apple will tally up the total number of votes and announce the iTunes Best Album & Song 2010 People’s Choice on December 21st — and unveil their own editorial choices at that time. Apple will send voters one email notifying them of the winners.

Anyone know what happened to iTunes Essentials collections. I went looking for them the other day and couldn’t find them. Are they gone or just buried?
Not gone! Google gave me this post on ilounge from Kate:
Not gone! Essentials are all about Music — so that’s where you’ll find the Essentials link.
1. Open iTunes.
2. Go to the iTunes Store.
3. In the left-hand nav bar, click Music.
4. On the Music page, the iTunes Essentials link can be found in the “More in Music” section.
@Spark
Bottom of any page anywhere in iTunes, there are a few lists of links. Second list from the left, Features, has iTunes Essentials listed, second from the bottom.
Are they going to include the Beatles in the polling?
