Best Buy to offer $50 iTunes gift card for $40 on Black Friday

“Black Friday ads have slowly started to leak out, and the latest is Best Buy’s Black Friday ad,” Michael Grothaus reports for TUAW.

“Best Buy is going to have quite a good deal on a $50 iTunes giftcard,” Grothaus reports. “During its Black Friday sale, Best Buy will offer the $50 gift cards for a whopping 20% off — so it’s only $40.”

Grothaus reports, “If you do a lot of iTunes Store purchasing, that’s actually quite a good deal — you might want to stock up on the cards while they’re on sale.”

  1. that was the sale price a week ago – buy 2 $25 cards, and save $10. Smart shopping all year long is infinitely more important than black friday – but consumers fall for it every year. Yes, deals online are great – but getting up at 3am to get in line isn’t. People got trampled to death at a local Walmart last year i think.

  2. In Canada Zehrs every years had coupon in store that expires early nov to buy a $50 itune card for $40 for Christmas. Funny thing every time I go to cashier to buy one their cashier is shock to see the coupon. That tell you how well train their employee are, pretty sad.

  3. Hmm… sounds awesome… wait… Best Buy?

I’ll pass. Nothing could get me to ever step foot on the property of those shit stores again, short of walking on their charred and/or demolished remains…
