  1. Well of course Gates is more powerful. Who else’s products command such a following…….. of viruses and malware. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />

  2. For those thinking Forbes thinks Gates is more influential in tech than Jobs, relax. Gates is listed for his efforts at getting the world’s billionaires to donate large chunks of their fortunes to charity upon their death. Jobs is the one of the few corporate CEOs listed for his actual work (Fox’s Murdoch is a few notches higher; the Google boys are a few notches lower; Zuckerberg, for those who care, is ranked #40).

Of course, all such rankings are ridiculous. How can you compare the “importance” of politicians vs. corporate honchos vs. religious leaders? You can’t — but it does sell magazines…

  3. it is not weir to see bill gates in that spot, there is even El Chapo Guzman, one of the biggest drug dealers, so if bad things are taking into account, II don’t know what the Pope and Steve Jobs are doing in that list.

  4. “Here are the 68 who matter”. Really? So as long as those 68 survive and the rest of the population ceases to exist, all is good. Hmm, 4 women in that group to propagate the new world.

  5. Dilma?

I’m sorry, THAT Dilma? The socialist guerrilha witch that just won elections based on a FUD campaign (just like Lula did)?

She is “powerful”, no doubt, but Brazil’s power is highly overrated. PT (Worker’s Party) just loves yelling about how big a economy we are, but they forget to tell us most of it is from exporting COMMODITIES.

Oh, and the Pope? The Pope has power? Oh please, just go fuck yourselves
