Apple releases iPhoto 9.1

Apple today released iPhoto 9.1 which adds several new print product options to iPhoto ’11. It also improves overall stability and addresses a number of other minor issues.

• Provides the ability to create and order calendars in iPhoto.
• Additional letterpress holiday greeting card themes are now available.
• Fixes an issue that prevented videos downloaded from MobileMe or Flickr from importing correctly into iPhoto events.

The update is recommended for all users of iPhoto ’11.

iPhoto 9.1 is available via Software Update and also as a standalone installer.

  1. Maybe this will actually work for me. Couldn’t get the 9.01 update to ever launch to anything, either from the stand alone installer or software update. Very strange, no actual app window would appear but it was running in some way and I would have to force quit it. Finally gave up after many attempts to solve the problem and trashed it and reinstalled from the iLife disk back to 9.0. Been working fine since, so hoping for no weirdness with this update.
