“Over the weekend Apple released another build of Mac OS X 10.6.5 to developers. Build 10H568 comes six days after the previous release,” Alex Brooks reports for World of Apple.
“Today it has come to light that build 10H568 has gone pre-release with a select number of developers having access to what looks like the final build of Mac OS X 10.6.5.,” Brooks reports. “The current version of Mac OS X Snow Leopard was released in mid-June after just under two months of developer testing.”
Brooks reports, “Mac OS X 10.6.5 build 10H568 weighs in at 496.6MB.”

Wasn’t it “imminent” more than one month ago? ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />
Ohhhhhhh, how titillating!!
Mainly for the AirPlay & iOS4.2 compatibility.
First it was pending, now it is imminent, soon it will be impending.
Wake me when it has arrived.
Wake me up when November ends.
Imminent?
I don’t care for him…
It’s Gold Master. Will be released on or before Friday just in time for U.S. Daylight Saving Time.
Nerd wood imminent…
I was hoping for an Apple event right before Thanksgiving with:
1) Release of 4.2 with lots of dazzling demos of Airplay/wireless printing, new iPad features, etc.
2) Update to iTunes for Airplay
3) Update to Apple TV for Airplay
4) Update to OS X for Airplay
5) Demo of third party accessories for Airplay
5) cough * cough * Verizon iPhone * cough
Is that too much to ask?
If I got a nickel for every time MDN used the word “immanent” I would be retired by now and living off the zillions of nickels.
Just twenty of them make a buck!
Let it GO!
MDN Magic Word – held, as in OS 10.6 was held in captivity long enough! Set it free… Born Free, as free as the wind… alright… ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”tongue laugh” style=”border:0;” />
10.6.5 that is…
MDN Magic Word, still, as in still waiting!!!
It’s Eminence Front. A front for imminent.
Windows 7 is far superior!

steveballmer notes “Windows 7 is far superior!”
No wonder MicroSoft is in such trouble. Ballmer spends his days surfing rather than actually working with his managers and actual one on ones with customers.
Dude, keep your pants on. Verizon iPhone? Uh, no. Not this year at least.
Oh, and cut down on the caffeine.
@ Burrell
That’s when MS makes progress — when Ballmer isn’t working…
Hey, I knows what I wants.
BTW, there will be an early announcement of the Verizon iPhone (if it exists) because of the FCC filing/approval process. That’s the only reason Apple announced iPhone six months early.
My Mac’s getting snappier just from the anticipation!

Bloodbath!
…just because ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”smile” style=”border:0;” />
It’s feeling more imminent by the hour.
Okay, I installed Vista onto a partitioned section of my Mac OS X 10.5.8 using boot camp. But there are no installed drivers for things like internet wireless.

Hey look some actual Mac news on MAC daily news. It’s a rare and beautiful thing
Sadly, the early posters here these days don’t offer up the obligatory snapiness claims bundled with imminence.
