My only disappointment yesterday was seeing the new MBA being limited to 4 gigs of RAM. That’s why I believe there’s room in the product lineup for something more. And the Core 2, nice of a CPU that it is, is not a bleeding edge screamer, but one that makes fairly modest demands on a battery. That said, I am smitten by the MBA, and it points to what’s to come.
My next question: what’s to come of iWeb?

The MacBook Pro. Their best selling Macs, get real. SJ said that the app store would not be the only way to sell software. The Magic Mouse and their trackpads have buttons, just because you can’t see something does not mean it is not there; like air.

All I want is the MacBook Pro 13″ with DVD and HDD removed and add SSD. Leave everything else as is. Make it 4 pounds with huge battery.

And an OS DVD can be reformatted, erased, or reused? They’ve given you a simple way to load the OS and not have to pop for the external SuperDrive and you’re whining? Floppies all over again. Maybe you should buy a Windows box.

Jim – you don’t think Google and Microsoft will jump right on the More Clouds bandwagon like theyve been shooting for? there’s still a browser that opens to a world of things. Apple just showed Google and Linux how it’s done. While the world is starting to see the browser as the future OS like Google wanted, Jobs is trying to show there’re still lots of ways to innovate the desktop.

MBA is not intended to be a mobil Studio… But a mobile Office. There are tools for each job to be performed. IMO
