“Just after Steve Ballmer finished up on stage, I cornered some of the development team members and got a look at the copy and paste features that Microsoft said will come early next year to Windows Phone 7,” Ina Fried reports for CNET.
“Copy and paste will work by letting users click on a particular word and then expand or contract their text selection from there. Sad, really…very sad. MS has been relegated as a has been. And rightfully so. Too bad these so called journalists don’t see it.

I don’t really care about cut/copy/paste. As long as I can squirt text to another Windows Phone 7 user I’m good.

It should be called Windows Phone 2007

I wouldn’t call Ina Fried elegant either. He/she (whatever) should think before throwing stones at MS.
